Hey there! I'm a 19 year old student at Hunter College in New York City looking to move home in May and go to the U in the fall semester. As long as I get my own room for rent that's cheaper than NYC I'll be happy. I use near to no electricity, I recycle a ton, I cook my own meals. I've never fallen short of rent or missed a rent payment. Same goes for utility bills. Only downfall for me is that I have a cat. It may be possible for her to live somewhere else, but for now I'm looking to see if I could move in somewhere with her. She's short-haired and isn't really a big people cat so she stays out of sight or with me for the most part. Of course, I'm totally responsible for her and would never ask someone else to take care of her, unless if I were away. As far as work goes for me, I have a per diem job as a figure skating coach in St. Paul that pays incredibly well. I receive about $400.00 per month from a different source (family related) so rent will be easy to make. I've also applied to about 6 or 7 paid internships for the summer. I'll choose from one of these jobs so I'll have an alternative source of money for rent. I'd love to maybe with people or get coffee with someone (once I'm back in Minnesota) so we can talk more details. I've also used this to find a roommate for my current apartment, I know how it goes.
